The problem with “Standard”
Here’s the thing: in glass bending, “almost” isn’t good enough. If your heat is uneven, you get optical distortion or, even worse, stress fractures. When you’re crammed for space, standard tubes often leave those annoying “cold spots” at the edges of the glass. It’s frustrating. Getting the heat right
We use shortwave quartz because it hits the glass fast. If you need a heavy-duty ramp-up in temperature, we can tweak the wattage and voltage to get you there. But a quick heads-up: if we pack more wattage into a shorter tube, the heat flux jumps up. It getshot. Make sure your housing can handle that extra radiant load, otherwise, you might see your chassis start to warp.
Making it actually fit
Customizing isn’t just about the length. Sometimes you’ve got weird curved or angled brackets that make a straight lamp impossible. We can build shapes that tuck right into those tight spots. This lets you get the heat source closer to the nip rollers without worrying about things bumping into each other. Plus, we handle the termination options, so you can plug them into your current controllers without hunting for a handful of random adapters. It’s a lot easier than redesigning your entire furnace frame. You just get a part that actually fits the space you have.
